Greenhouse: Cyclamen and Tomatoes Limited Edition Print by Eric Ravilious
 
Greenhouses became a recurring theme in Eric's work and this beautiful watercolour was painted in the garden of an old man living at Firle near Lewes in East Sussex. At that time Ravilious and his partner Tirzah Garwood were staying with their friend Peggy Angus at her cottage called 'Furlongs' in Beddingham, the next village under the South Downs to Firle. 'Furlongs' provided the inspiration for many other paintings, many of which can be found in our collection.
